Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey signed legislation on Friday banning local governments from teaching critical race theory.
The governor's office said it was just the latest action Ducey has taken to "prohibit the concerning practice of critical race theory" in the state's public schools and government entities. The office called Ducey's actions "some of the best policies in the country to keep critical race theory" out of Arizona.
