My father was drafted in December 1941. My mother told me that of all the men who were from his area, my father was the best physical specimen of all. My Dad remained physically fit until the day that he died. I wanted to make such a wonderful comment about my amazing Dad in honor of Father’s Day. My Dad was my hero. He made it his first career retiring after 32 years in the Army.
