NBC announced Monday it will not broadcast the 2022 Golden Globes award show as backlash grows over lack of diversity in the ranks.

Diversity, my ass.

Academy Awards ONLY got 9 million viewers, down from 40 million only 2 years ago, and it just doesn't make financial sense to host a relic of a corrupt culture anymore.

Probably more important than money to Hollywood is they are almost irrelevant now and hosting events that highlight fact that make them look really, really "uncool".
